Dr. Abhishek Deo is a senior and highly experienced Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist from Delhi with a clinical practice of 24 years centered towards Gastroenterology, Liver Disease, Diagnostic Therapeutic Endoscopy and Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy procedures.

Dr. Deo is MBBS, MRCP (UK) and CCT (Dual accreditation of Gastroenterology and General Medicine by Royal College of Physicians, London, UK) certified physician. On completion of MBBS graduation, Dr. Deo travelled abroad to UK to pursue post graduate training during which he received the privileged opportunity to work and learn under some leading gastroenterologists in UK. Dr. Deo served for 14 years in reputed medical institutes in UK under various medical specialities. In 2010, Dr. Deo returned to his homeland and channelized his overseas training into medical practice. Dr. Deo has extensive experience in Gastroenterology and General Medicine. W.r.t Gastroenterology, Dr. Deo is proficient in managing patients in specialist GI and liver outpatient clinics and specialist wards. He is extremely adept in catering to patients with a broad spectrum of liver diseases such as viral hepatitis, alcoholic liver disease and autoimmune liver disease. He efficiently handles acute liver failure and post liver transplant patients in close association with transplant team. In terms of experience in General Medicine, Dr. Deo is well versed in addressing a wide variety of medical problems inclusive of common cardiovascular, respiratory, renal and endocrine problems. He has attended a wide variety of medical emergencies with optimal attention and care. Dr. Deo possesses a background in teaching DNB trainees. He has tutored several undergraduate medical students and post graduate doctors.
